“I designed Twisty because I spent years trying to understand my own curly hair. I know what it's like when it falls beautifully one day and refuses to cooperate the next. I went through hundreds of products and methods. In time, though, I understood that curly hair doesn't need to be tamed – you need to learn its needs and learn how to care for it properly. I felt that curly-haired people needed an accessible brand that helps you understand and love that natural curl. I wanted curl care to stop being a constant fight or just a dream, and to become something simple, enjoyable and confidence-giving. Twisty was created for everyone who has ever felt frustrated by their hair – and who would finally like to look at it with delight, because curly hair isn't a problem, it's a wonderful gift!”
